This project brings the US Open to a new generation. Embracing its loud atmosphere compared to other Grand Slam tournaments, the US Open is positioned as a must-see event for any sports fan.

The logo is drawn from the lines of a tennis court, with a 45° angle added to represent the individuality each player brings to the tournament. The custom typeface was created to reference the rhythm of a tennis match and the grid of NYC streets, and the modularity of the identity system emphasizes the tournament’s history of inclusivity.
