Star & Key

Star & Key is a set of symbols for the government and people of Mauritius applied to an introductory booklet.

The symbol set is inspired by the forward-thinking spirit of Mauritius, especially its role as the only full democracy in Africa. Instead of static squares or circles, these dynamic symbols are meant to feel like they’re moving forward on the page.

The expository booklet is a further expansion on the visual language of the symbols. This booklet embraces the graphic shapes of the icons and invites the reader into the world of the Star & Key symbol set.
